While the ESP32 is versatile and cost-effective, it is primarily designed for consumer and hobbyist applications. It may not offer the same level of reliability and durability needed for industrial use. Industrial controllers like the CC100 often come with certifications (e.g., CE, UL, FCC) that guarantee they meet specific regulatory standards for safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). These certifications are critical for ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Where as ESP32 may lack these certifications, making it more challenging to use them in regulated industrial environments.
